- You need of Sponge.
- Prepare 1 of egg.
- You need 1 cup of sugar.

Cheap Malva Pudding instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- In a medium to large bowl, cream together margarine, egg & sugar.
- Mix in vinegar & jam. Then add the milk and mix.
- Now mix in the flour, bicarb & baking powder.
- Pour into a medium to large greased baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a knife inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- While malva pudding is in oven, place all the ingredients for the sauce into a saucepan and stir over moderate heat until the butter has melted and the sugar dissolved.
- Pierce the hot pudding several times with a skewer so that the sauce can be absorbed. Pour over the sauce over the pudding and rest for 10 minutes. Serve with custard or cream.
